A failed shower replaced with a fully documented, curbless waterproof assembly.
The previous remodel lasted three years before water found the subfloor. We removed everything down to joists and replaced two of them.
The new assembly is a bonded waterproof membrane over a sloped mud bed, flood-tested and photographed at every stage.
Radiant heat, a linear drain and a full-height stone niche finish a room the clients now describe as the reason they stopped looking at other houses.
